Hi,
You can see a good explanation of the problem at https://drewdevault.com/2025/03/17/2025-03-17-Stop-externalizing-your-costs-... and https://gitlab.gnome.org already deployed anubis (https://anubis.techaro.lol/).
Even though the server spec was upgraded last week, we still see frequent down times when the service is not accessible for up to 2 minutes or sometimes 5 minutes. So we are considering to deploy anubis on https://source.puri.sm as well.
**We have setup anubis on https://source-anubis.puri.sm/ please test this and give feedback** so we can deploy it on https://source.puri.sm as well. This would mean you will need a recent web browser with javascript to access the web interface (git clone/pull over https should not be affected). This is a difficult decision but adding more and more processing power to the server or keep suffering from the frequent down times / delayed responses is not a reasonable option either.
Please reach out to us if you have other ideas.
Thanks Praveen
